On this BMGF-funded project, our team is delivering a targeted suite of interventions to address PHC management capacity gaps and strengthen PHC service delivery to improve access to quality PHC services in Kano state, Nigeria.

The Kano Primary Health Care Management Capacity Strengthening Project (Kano Manage PHC/KPMCSP) is a focused initiative aimed at addressing primary healthcare (PHC) management capacity gaps and enhancing PHC service delivery in Kano state. To improve access to quality PHC services, the project delivers a targeted suite of interventions tailored to the specific needs of the region. Supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), KPMCSP is implemented in collaboration with TAConnect, leveraging their expertise in healthcare management and capacity building.

Over the project timeline from February 2023 to January 2024, and during the subsequent No Cost Extension period from February 2024 to April 2024, we are addressing key challenges in PHC management and improving the overall quality and accessibility of PHC services for communities across the state.
