About Abdulateef

Abdulateef often referred to as “La” is an Organisational Management Specialist with experience in public, private and non-profit fields. An HIV expert and global public health professional with over (twenty) 20 years’ experience in HIV care and HIV programs design and implementation, public health practice, healthcare management and consulting in sub-Saharan Africa.

Working at SCIDaR

Before joining SCIDaR, He worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Maryland Global Initiatives Corporation in Kenya.
As a principal at SCIDaR, La functions as the business official for SCIDaR since 2013 and manages cumulative donor funds worth over $50million. He works as Project Director of several donor-funded projects, including the US government, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the DFID.
