Ayomide Fasan

Ayomide Fasan is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the English Language. Before joining SCIDaR, Ayomide has served as a language facilitator during her National Youth Service (NYSC), written blog articles on technology and motivation as well as worked in radio stations as a newscaster and an on-air presenter.

Gaining insights from her work at SCIDaR, Ayomide believes that Africa’s reformation is a valid dream.

Working at SCIDaR

With a desire to work in the corporate world, she found a path in Corporate Communications and took a bold step into entering the space. SCIDaR accepted her green and launched her into the field equipped with a learning avenue and tailored guidance to becoming a specialist. With daily exposure to analytical thinking, thought structuring, smart writing, presentation skills, precision, speech coordination, people management, and emotional intelligence, her growth has become faster than she had anticipated.
Ayomide’s work is important to her because she sees herself as a key player in disseminating SCIDaR’s impact stories and knowledge products. Her daily work activities include contributing to strategic planning and programming related to communications, external relations, and stakeholder engagement, and providing research, technical and operational support to the Executive Director.
