About Lois

Lois Durunguma is a vivacious, zealous, and selectively extroverted young lady who is always seeking a better version of herself. She loves indie rock music, karaoke and believes adults who have the opinion that animations are just for kids simply lack a huge sense of humor.

Working at SCIDaR

In 2019, Lois joined SCIDaR as an Intern during her one-year compulsory service-NYSC. In the first six months, she supported the Gavi LMC project, providing technical assistance to Guinea Bissau’s Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI). Thereafter, she joined the Strategic Information team (SI) on the ACHIEVE project to date. For Lois, working at SCIDaR has been exciting, providing the opportunity for paced but consistent growth. She never forgets her first day, observing the high level of confidence of the young people she came across and how they communicated with so much smartness. She appreciates the constant effort put into the development of each employee and the overall team spirit. There is a healthy dose of competition among colleagues as they are ever willing to serve as helping hands when any form of support is needed. Lois acknowledges that she has greatly improved her problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, which is evident to others close to her outside the work environment.
