About Muyi

Dr. Muyi Aina is a seasoned management consultant and public health professional with over twenty (20) years of experience in healthcare and management consulting.
Before founding Solina Group, Dr. Muyi was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey and Company; a leading global management consulting firm. In this capacity, he worked on a myriad of projects that spanned a variety of topics including strategy, organizational and operational performance transformations, mergers, and acquisitions. His primary goals are to improve the health outcomes of the population of Nigeria while developing truly skilled leaders for the African continent among his colleagues.

Working at SCIDaR

Muyi’s keen interest in working in Nigeria prompted him and a friend to branch out and have what has now evolved to become SCIDaR. This platform has provided the opportunity to work on several projects aimed at improving routine immunization performance in Nigeria including the landmark study, landscape study of Routine Immunization in Nigeria (LARI), and transformation of the National and State Vaccine logistics and Supply Chain system. Also, SCIDaR has provided the platform to groom young African leaders by instilling in them the importance of excellence, which he thinks is the most cost-effective marketing strategy.
As a principal at SCIDaR, Muyi leads the development and management of the company’s global portfolio of projects and partnerships. He has led several projects in SCIDaR including the development of an innovative & sustainable model of engaging private for-profit facilities in the delivery of HIV/AIDS services. He also runs non-healthcare projects including the Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria (YouWiN) program of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
