Osezefe chose development consulting because of the platform to make a large-scale impact beyond the patient-level impact of clinical practice. SCIDaR has been a great opportunity to harness his core abilities in healthcare delivery, critical thinking, and a bias for innovation.
Since joining SCIDaR, he has worked on the Polio Outbreak Response (POBR) project in Borno state and the Northern Nigeria Routine Immunization Strengthening Program (NNRISP) in Bauchi state. Osezefe currently works with teammates on the Top Team Effectiveness project to strengthen the collaboration of health leadership teams at the sub-national levels and the Lagos Telehealth Implementation Research project to determine the most effective digital channels for expanding primary healthcare access to underserved populations. He mostly enjoys the vibrant brainstorming sessions that birth innovation to improve health and social outcomes for the end user.
