SCIDaR’s mission since inception has been to improve health and social outcomes for underserved populations. Driven by evidence, partnerships, and bold program design; We pursue this mission in an increasingly complex world.

Over the past decade, global aid flows have become more uncertain, more competitive, and, in many regions, steadily declining. Donor fatigue, geopolitical shifts, and simultaneous global crises are shrinking the pool of available funding, placing even greater strain on critical sectors like health and social development, precisely where our work is most needed.

Introducing The Innovation Office

To sustain impact in this new reality, SCIDaR launches the Innovation Office; a forward-looking initiative built to rethink how development is financed and delivered.

At the helm is Chibueze Ewuzie, SCIDaR’s inaugural Chief Innovation Officer. A seasoned innovator with 13+ years of experience spanning AI, finance, healthcare, and travel, Chibueze brings both global insight and practical know-how.

Under his leadership, the Innovation Office, a core engine for sustainability and scale will serve as a launchpad for bold experimentation across SCIDaR’s work. Priorities include:

SCIDaR’s innovation office is a strategic evolution; rooted in our founding values of insight, innovation, and impact. We are charting a new path; one that’s locally led, globally relevant, and financially sustainable. Through the Innovation Office, we are redefining what modern development leadership looks like.
