Aseeyah joined SCIDaR in 2018 as an Intern during her one-year compulsory NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) service year. Her internship experience presented a new opportunity for personal development as she found herself in a competitive environment where her “intellect” defined her growth.
Her passion and dream had always been to touch human lives and create a positive change and SCIDaR provided that opportunity.
In SCIDaR, work is done like everyone is family. Each person supports another professionally, mentally, physically, emotionally, and even academically. Aseeyah loves that spirit of teamwork.
Aseeyah loves her work; having had the opportunity to work on various projects within SCIDaR that range from the Northern Nigeria Routine Immunization program (NNRISP) to, HIV/AIDs program (ACHIEVE) and Gavi HSS program. She has worked mostly in states such as Sokoto, Jigawa, Borno, and even FCT.
She has supported these states in strengthening their health programs where she was able to apply the concept of problem-solving steps, analysis, including research to arrive at innovative ideas in addition to client and stakeholder engagement.
