Dr. Uchenna Igbowkwe is a health system and management consulting professional with over 10 years of experience designing and implementing health systems strengthening interventions to improve health outcomes across Africa. He is an enthusiastic, passionate and result-driven individual who is vast and experienced in supply chain management, healthcare financing, immunization, and PHC systems strengthening and leadership capacity building.

Working at SCIDaR

With relevant experience in clinical practice in Nigeria, Dr. Uche was able to highlight significant gaps in health care delivery and management. He joined SCIDaR to be able to contribute to the improvement of health outcomes for underserved populations and the most vulnerable in society helped propel his passion. Being part of a team of “possibility thinkers”, implementing solutions to fix the most pressing healthcare challenges sustains Uche’s passion for what we do at SCIDaR.
As a Principal at SCIDaR, Uche leads Solina’s portfolio on routine immunization and PHC strengthening projects which cut across various states in Nigeria and other West African countries. He also directs large grants, seeking to address maternal mortality due to postpartum hemorrhage, and reduce malaria burden in Nigeria with funding from MSD for mothers and BMGF respectively.
