Across many communities, entrenched gender norms continue to restrict women’s access to economic opportunities, limiting their contributions to their families, communities, and society at large. These barriers have long stifled women’s potential and hindered progress toward gender equality.
Recognising this critical challenge, SCIDaR, in partnership with Gatefield and WRTHY, launched a Communications Toolkit for the Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) Policy at the Gender and Inclusion Summit (GIS) 2024.
This toolkit offers a practical roadmap for stakeholders to advocate for the domestication of the WEE policy at both national and sub-national levels.
By empowering stakeholders to challenge harmful norms and champion the economic rights of women, we are opening new pathways toward economic equality.
Join the advocacy by accessing the WEE policy toolkit and be part of the movement to empower women across Nigeria.
